Privacy Policy

Aligned is a single-player precision game. It has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party trackers of any kind. This policy explains the small amount of data the game does handle.

What stays on your device

Your progress lives in your device's local storage and never leaves it unless you choose to post a score. That includes:

• best scores, medals, and lifetime lock counts
• which difficulty modes and visual themes you have unlocked
• settings such as sound on/off and your last-played mode
• the three-character initials you last typed, so you do not have to retype them

Deleting the app removes all of it. We cannot see any of it and it is never transmitted.

What happens when you post a score

Posting to the global leaderboard is entirely optional. The game is fully playable without ever touching it. If you do tap "post to leaderboard", we send and store:

• the three characters you entered as your initials (A–Z and 0–9 only)
• your score, your depth in Endless mode, and which mode you played
• the calendar date, for daily-challenge boards

That record is public — it is what other players see on the leaderboard. Please do not enter anything in the initials field that you would not want shown publicly. We do not ask for, and have no way to collect, your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, or device identifiers.

Who stores it

Leaderboard entries are stored with Supabase, our database provider, on servers in the United States. Like any web service, their systems process your IP address transiently in order to deliver the request. We do not log, retain, or have access to IP addresses, and we do not link them to leaderboard entries.

Offensive names

Initials are screened against a blocklist before they can be submitted. If something objectionable still reaches a board, use the "report an offensive name" link at the bottom of the in-game leaderboard, or email us at the address below. We review reports and remove offending entries, typically within 24 hours.

Children

Aligned does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The only user-supplied content is a three-character initial. If you believe a child has posted something identifying, email us and we will delete it.

Your choices

• Do not post. Skip the leaderboard and nothing ever leaves your device.
• Delete a posted score. Email us with the initials, mode, and approximate score and we will remove the row.
• Delete local data. Delete the app, or clear site data if you play in a browser.

What we never do

We do not sell or share data with data brokers, we do not serve ads, we do not use your data for advertising or marketing, and we do not track you across apps or websites.

Changes

If this policy changes in any meaningful way, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
